Have you ever got a chance to witness the highly popular police procedural, Cold Case?
In case you haven’t, then actor Judd Hirsch is bringing something of that sort for you! But keep in mind that he wouldn’t be making any appearance in a crime show like Cold Case.
You must be wondering whether he would assist someone in busting the real crime nexus!
Well, do you really expect the 76-year-old to run with automatic guns in hands along the streets of New York in real life?
Certainly not!
It’s about a TV film, titled Silent Witness, which would feature him as one of the important allies of the central character.
The film, which is an adaptation of a work of fiction by author Richard North, will put the character as one of the main links between a crime and the culprit.
That’s right. Judd will be seen as a friend to a lawyer, who comes back to his hometown, only to get involved in a murder case investigation with a teacher’s life at stake.
Role of this lawyer would be played by Dermot Mulroney, while that of the teacher would see Michael Cudlitz. There is one big name attached to the project, and that is of vivacious and award- winning actor Anne Heche! She would be stepping into the shoes of this teacher’s wife.
It’s evident that Judd Hirsch’s role is rather inconsequential, but then, most of his fans would get to watch Numbers alum on small screen after a long time, and that is gratifying in itself. His acts as Alan Eppes, a father role in the crime drama are available online, and I guess after the news of his cameo in a new project, demand for downloads would certainly soar up! With a December premiere, this TV movie would vouch for a good take on the mystery-laden works of a celebrated author like Richard North Patterson. And for us fans, it’s a matter of pride that Judd got an opportunity to be a part of it.

Well, the actor I’m talking about is David Krumholtz, famous for his role as the mathematical genius, Professor Charlie Epps on Numb3rs.
